Dendritic Quartz with Iron Oxide
Delicate iron-oxide dendrites branch through transparent quartz like a quiet landscape suspended within crystal. Formed through natural mineral deposition over geological time, these intricate patterns evoke the appearance of trees or river systems while remaining entirely inorganic in origin. Carefully controlled lighting reveals the remarkable depth, warm amber tones, and subtle complexity hidden within this exceptional quartz specimen. Matthew used natural soil of Kauai Hawaii to build the set.
